The Farr Gold Series® has proven itself to work very well in both the fiberglass manufacturing industry and the fiberglass reinforced plastic (FRP) finishing industry. Horizontal cartridge collectors have failed because of fibers bridging between cartridges. Our unique overbag and vertical Gold Cone filters enable the shedding of fibrous dust and achieve long filter life.
GS48 on Chopped Fiberglass
Traditionally, baghouses with cyclones have been used for fiberglass applications. The Farr Gold Series, with its cross flow inlet design and vertical pleated cartridges, keeps the material from bridging.
